Opening remarks by Eric G. John, U.S. Ambassador to Thialand at the 23rd Annual U.S. Higher Education Fair held at Imperial Queens Park Hotel, October 4, 2008.
A successful fugitive recovery agent possesses a range of interpersonal and verbal skills to communicate with a wide spectrum of people including every level and strata of society, from lawyers and judges to desperate fugitives and their associates. When the case becomes international and cross-cultural, the skills and experience of the fugitive recovery agent must rise to the challenge in order for the agent to operate effectively with people from other parts of the world.
Other characteristics include persistence, and the patience necessary to perform surveillance as well as the reasoned judgment to minimize the risks that are associated with confrontation.
This California certified fugitive recovery agent is trained as an attorney and reserve police officer and has extensive experience operating within international theaters unfamiliar to most Westerners.
